Cambridge Corn Field Ride

Once again a great annual event was held involving ATV’n, benefit fund raising and great food.

The annual Cambridge Corn Field Ride to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation was recently held in this part of the state and our hats go off to the Cambridge Cruisers and their membership for another great outing. The effort behind this event is headed up by Mike and Sue Charette and we cannot say enough about what great host these folks are. What an effort put forward by all involved. The Make A Wish Foundation truly has a friend in this diverse group of people. This year (2009) over 200 ATV’rs rode through a cow barn, down through corn fields, across paved roads, through woods and back. All to raise over $5100 for the foundation. Also a note to say that support from the Dexter Fire Dept. Auction and a 50/50 raffle was also included to put this event over the top. Thank you to all those folks for stepping up.

Let us not forget the meal prior to. A pig roast with all the fixing’s and dessert. OUTSTANDING!!!

On a personal note this is our 4th year of participating and may we suggest that if you haven’t been, try it next year, you won’t be disappointed.

Again thank you and congratulations to all the ATV’rs for being so generous when it comes to these events.
